As a career kitchen designer of 20 years, my passion for this industry has only grown over time. I love the challenge of working with clients to help them discover the best possible outcome for their kitchen projects. However, in 2017 in the midst of a very secure position and lots of opportunity for advancement, I had the opportunity to leave it all behind and teach elementary students at a private Christian school.

So, with a lot of prayer, counsel and support from my wife and family, I made the switch. Leaving it all behind was hard and even harder was doing something new and unfamiliar. My science degree from university was all but forgotten. It was the right decision non-the-less.

After a short venture on YouTube with my wife Amy, encouraged me to pursue my passion for kitchen design in a new way. Mark Tobin Kitchen Design was born and the opportunity to design for clients all over the world opened up.

After 3 1/2 years teaching and perusing this side venture, another opportunity allowed me to follow the my entrepreneurial dream and take on YouTube and Online Design full time.
